For over 40 years, Jim Lake Companies has been a Dallas-based commercial real estate development company that specializes in office, warehouse and office/showroom properties. The company enjoys a consistent 92% plus occupancy for over 1,950,000 sq. ft. of owned property.

Early History
Founded in 1964 by Jim Lake, Sr. (father of current CEO Jim Lake, Jr.), the company focused on speculative office/warehouse building in Plano Texas. In the 1970s, the company expanded its focus to include properties in Brownsville, Austin, and the Trinity Industrial District in Dallas.

In 1976, Mike Morgan became a partner with Jim Lake Companies. Together with Lake, Sr., the two developed an overlooked piece of land behind the Wyndham Anatole.
